Me: Ok, now when you get done scraping out the can you can take the square edge of the spatula…see it there?…and use it to get in the corners. See? That way you can clean out the rest of it.
Lucy: (fixes me with her most sarcastic stare). Huh. Wow Mom. I wasn’t aware that cans had corners.
